PERIT ARIELLE AGIUS

B.E & A (HONS)    ·   M.I.D. (POLITECNICO DI MILANO)    ·   A. & C.E.

Perit Arielle Agius is the Founder and Head Architect at ARCO Design Studio. Prior to the foundation of her own firm, Perit Agius graduated with an honours degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of Malta. At the beginning of her professional career, Perit Agius was involved in several projects for the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs in Malta. In 2009, Perit Agius left to pursue her passion for design in Milan, Italy. There she attained a Masters degree in Interior Design from the renowned Politecnico di Milano. In Milan, she was asked to join a prominent architectural firm, Asa Studio Albanese, owned by the director of Domus magazine Flavio Alabanese at the time. During her time with the firm, she was responsible for various projects, designs and visuals.

Striving to emerge as a professional in her own right, and fuse the architecture and interior design professions together, lead to the establishment of ARCO Design Studio in 2012, in a small office in San Gwann. The convergence was very highly received by the local market, so much so that in a matter of just two years the company was able to grow in number and in services. This growth was catalysed by moving to a new office in Santa Venera which could accommodate more team members with different backgrounds and skill-sets, which pushed to concept of ARCO even further - wher architecture, interior design and graphic design blend harmoniously.
